Democracy for Sale

The Greens have published a full summary of the donations data for every Council and the top 20 councils donations and spending for their 2004 election campaigns.  We have also added  full Council disclosures for many of the top earning councils.  This data is not published anywhere else - it is exclusive to Democracy4sale.org.

This research project drew on material collected by the Sydney Morning Herald investigative journalist, Malcolm Knox, who transcribed notes of the paper based disclosure returns held at the NSW Election Funding Authority for the 2004 Local Government elections.
